Once the drainage layer is in place it should be covered with a permeable membrane. This allows water and oxygen to pass freely, but prevents the substrate from being washed into the drainage layer.
Next arrange ProRep BioLife to the depth required, depending on the terrarium occupants and the effect required. For the best effect arrange the layers in banks or terraces, using rocks or wood to create a realistic environment. Living plants can then be planted to create the desired habitat.
