Black Magic Volcano Lava Rock - 1KG
As the name suggests, this rock is formed from volcanic lava deposits. Because of the way it's formed, this rock is extremely porous. This is where the magic element comes in!
The tiny holes and porous nature create a fantastic home for nitrifying bacteria (the good stuff) which in turn can help naturally decrease nitrate. Think of this rock as both hardscape and natures filter!
This rock stacks beautifully due to its rough surface, so the possibilities are truly endless.
We suggest ordering 3kg or more to ensure a nice mixture of sizes and so you have enough rock. Please increase the quantity of the product to how many KG you would like in total and then add to bag.
We sell this rock by the KG not piece, please note that we will always try and pick the most unusual and striking pieces of rock that fit the weight you have ordered. No pieces weight exactly 1kg, so the weight might be slightly under, or slightly over the ordered weight as we are unable to cut rock pieces.
Please always rinse rocks before use to remove dust.
Black Magic Volcano Lava Rock should not increase or decrease PH when added to your aquarium, but we always suggest monitoring this to be safe.
