Freshwater Live Daphnia (10 bags) for Ponds / Aquariums

Live Daphnia is one of the most popular aquarium and pond live foods available.

It is one of the most popular product we sell for ponds during spring and summer with many pond keeps adding live Daphnia into their pond to help with the natural balance, waste removal and providing natural food for pond life

Daphnia are filter feeders and can be very beneficial in ponds and aquariums as they help to clear green water, as well as providing a tasty meal for most freshwater fish.

They have the added advantage of being able to stay alive in the aquarium until they are eaten. 

Each bag measures approximately 12cm to 15cm tall and is filled half water and half air, and a standard amount of livefood is contained in each bag.

Keep the bags of daphnia cold in a fridge at between 3 and 6 degs C. The daphnia will keep for approx 7 days in this state. Amounts and daphinia size may vary slightly from bag to bag.
